AI-Enabled Systems Student Research Seminar is planned for January 3, 2025

I am delighted to invite you to participate in the upcoming AI-Enabled Systems Student Research Seminar on January 3, 2025. This seminar will be hosted both online via MS Teams and on-site at the Tallinn University of Technology (Taltech).

This seminar offers an excellent opportunity for students across all fields, including those from non-technical backgrounds, to present their research on artificial intelligence (AI). We are especially keen to encourage interdisciplinary perspectives on AI. The event is tailored for junior researchers, doctoral and graduate students, but we also welcome undergraduate students and other enthusiasts to present their work.

Topics of Interest

We invite submissions that explore AI-enabled systems across various domains and methods. Your focus can range from specific case studies to broader discussions on AI. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • AI Applications
  • Cognitive Technologies
  • Industry 4.0
  • Robotics and Automation
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Smart Cities
  • Ethics in AI
  • Human-AI Interaction

Call for Papers

We are calling for submissions of extended abstracts (2-5 pages) in the following categories:

  • Review Paper
  • Concept or Position Paper
  • Method Paper
  • Technical Paper
  • Feasibility or Piloting Study
  • Work in Progress Papers

All accepted papers will be included in the seminar proceedings, published by Taltech Press, and made available as open access on the Digital Collection of TalTech Library.

Important Dates

  • December 30, 2024: Deadline for extended abstracts
  • January 02, 2025: Registration deadline and agenda announcement
  • January 03, 2025: Seminar day

Presentation Details

Presentations can be delivered on-site or online. Each presenter will have 10 minutes to present their work, followed by up to 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
